While working with Southface Energy Institute to develop the EarthCraft House Renovation program, I developed a deep commitment to green building and remodeling. Since then, I have made it my personal commitment to be a good steward of the environment by assisting others in making their homes and projects healthy, efficient, and durable structures. Through my personal experience of living in an EarthCraft House I have become acutely aware of the increased comfort, health, and cleanliness that these building techniques provide. There is no downside to building green.

Beginning in August, 2008, all qualifying homes listed on the FMLS service have the opportunity to include their Energy Star, EarthCraft House, LEED for Homes certification status as well as their HERS index as part of the home's features.   Seville Consulting was a member of the team that advised FMLS and made specific recommendations for each certification to be included.
